The Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation Corp Int. (SCAFCI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization based in Jamaica, New York, founded on August 1, 2007, and incorporated in 2012. It focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease through awareness, education, advocacy, and support.
